Hollingdean Parking

ML08 AYH

Silver Ford Fiesta

  • ML08 AYH is yet another non-resident vehicle taking up space in Hollingdean. It is believed to be connected to one of the takeaway businesses in Fiveways.

  • The owner consistently parks it as close to Fiveways as possible, often leaving it unmoved for days at a time. This is a familiar pattern - non-residents using Hollingdean as their personal car park to avoid restrictions in the areas where they actually live or work.

  • Residents have raised repeated complaints about this particular vehicle, not just for its parking habits but for the disruptive behaviour of its driver. Reports describe erratic driving, excessive honking, and aggressive acceleration.

  • To make matters worse, the vehicle itself is in poor mechanical condition. The owner frequently sits inside for up to fifteen minutes after starting it, repeatedly revving the engine.

  • This is particularly problematic because it often happens either very late at night or very early in the morning, disturbing local residents with unnecessary noise pollution.

  • ML08 AYH is yet another example of how non-residents not only take up parking spaces meant for locals but also bring additional disruption and nuisance to the community.
